Partnership Organizations

Overview of Partnership Organizations

Several organizations and activities that have special relevance to the work of the Network have been identified during the planning phase of the Network. These include two ongoing efforts of the MacArthur Foundation, the Research Network on Socioeconomic Status and Health and the Committee on the Fiscal Future of the United States, co-sponsored with the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Public Administration.

The other external organizations with which the Network will collaborate consist of various government agencies, foundations, university institutes, and think tanks. The primary government agencies with programs relevant to the proposed work of the Network are the National Institute on Aging of the National Institutes of Health and the Government Accountability Office. The university-based institutes, think tanks, and foundations listed below are working in areas related to, but only minimally overlapping, the work of the Network.
