Axel Boersch-Supan is Professor of Macroeconomics and Public Policy at the University of Mannheim, Germany. He chairs the Council of Advisors to the German Economics Ministry and the Pension Reform Unit of the German Social Security Reform Commission. He also coordinates the Survey of Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe.'
