Ishtar Govia, Network Associate, is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica and an Adjunct Faculty Associate with the Research Center for Group Dynamics at the Institute for Social Research. Dr. Govia’s work focuses on health inequities, migration, and workplace wellness, and is informed by life course perspectives and interdisciplinary strategies. Her research, teaching, and professional service are devoted to capacity building for research, research translation, and evidence-based practice in Caribbean countries and other Lower and Middle Income Countries.
